Short Bio:

Henry Muccini received is PhD degree in Computer Science from the University of Rome – La Sapienza – in 2002. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of L’Aquila since 2002 and he has been visiting professor at Information & Computer Science, University of California, Irvine.

My research interests are in the Computer Science area, Software Engineering field. In particular, my main research interests are on software architecture descriptions and analysis, architecture-based analysis, testing, and monitoring, model driven engineering, global software engineering, and mobile computing. I have published over 90 international conference and journal articles on these topics, and co-edited two books (Software Engineering of Fault Tolerant Systems, World Scientific Publishing, June 2007 and Architecting Dependable Systems V, Lecture Notes in Computer Science 5135, August 2008).

I will co-chair the Program Committee of WICSA, the Working IEEE/IFIP Conference on Software Architecture, in 2016. I have been co-chairing the Program Committee of the Automation of Software Test workshop co-located with the ICSE Software Engineering Conference in 2013 (http://software.nju.edu.cn/zychen/ast/), the QSIC quality software conference in 2012 (http://www.di.univaq.it/qsic2012/) and of the EUROMICRO SEAA in 2012 (http://www.seaa2012.ii.metu.edu.tr). I did host the IFIP 2.10 working group on Software Architecture in 2012. I directed the TAROT school on Software Testing in 2013. I recently directed the SERENE 2010 Spring School on Resilience and Self-* Systems, and I am directing the 2014 School, acted as co-guest editor of the IJSEKE Journal Special Issue on “Software Test Automation, Practice, and Standardization”, and co-organized the Dagstuhl seminar 10111 on “Practical Software Testing : Tool Automation and Human Factors”. I also co-founded the Int. Symposium on Architecting Critical Systems and I am chairing the steering committee of the Int. Workshop on Software Engineering for Resilient Systems and its ERCIM Working Group. I serve as PC member and reviewer in among the most important international conferences and journals in Software Engineering, Software Architecture, and Software Testing.

I am also the responsible of three double degree programmes (the most mature being the GSEEM, www.gseem.eu) and the coordinator of two Erasmus Mundus EMA 2 projects.
