The withstanding of the accidental strong wind strokes over the buildings (as well as traffic objects) and understanding their unwanted loads on the construction, involves a very sophisticated, both scientific and technical CFD-based (Computer Fluid Dynamics) research of these phenomena.

Fine computer-aided research is also involved in both wind- a sub-sea streams, which are offering predictable resource of renewable energy that is to be extracted by the turbines and transferred into electricity.

In this presentation the progress in the research on such large-scale domains will be presented and discussed.
